Objective
Ensure the baby change room in hospitality facilities is cleaned and sanitised to the highest Australian standards, ensuring safety, hygiene, and comfort for all users.
Cleaning Methods
Ready the cleaning trolley, ensuring it is equipped with colour-coded cleaning cloths and the suitable cleaning agents.
Start by emptying the rubbish bin and replacing the liner.
Utilise a disinfectant spray to sanitise all surfaces, commencing from the highest point and working downwards.
Mop the floor using a disinfectant solution, ensuring all areas are thoroughly covered.
Ensure all surfaces are wiped down with a clean, damp cloth, leaving no residue behind.
Refill all dispensers and verify their functionality.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard.
Inspect the room for any remaining dirt or debris, and address as necessary.

ExcellentAll surfaces are visibly clean and sanitised, no odours present, all dispensers are full and functional, floors are spotless and dry, air vents are dust-free.
GoodSurfaces are clean with minimal streaks, no strong odours, dispensers are mostly full, floors are clean with minor dampness, air vents have minimal dust.
PassSurfaces are generally clean, mild odours present, dispensers are partially full, floors are clean but damp, air vents have some dust accumulation.
FailSurfaces are visibly dirty, strong odours present, dispensers are empty or non-functional, floors are dirty or wet, air vents are clogged with dust.
