Objective
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the stairwell of a hospitality facility, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all the necessary equipment and supplies, making sure to use colour-coded cloths and mops.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Commence by dusting all horizontal surfaces, beginning from the top of the stairwell and proceeding downwards.
Sanitise handrails and high-touch areas using a disinfectant solution.
Mop the hard floor utilising a damp mop and the correct cleaning solution, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and ensure the bin is clean and odour-free.
Wipe down the wall and eliminate any marks using an appropriate cleaning agent.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the quality criteria.
