Objective
Ensure the service lift in the hospitality facility is cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for staff and guests.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared with all necessary supplies and equipment, utilising colour-coded cleaning cloths to avoid cross-contamination.
Commence by dusting and wiping down all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, beginning from the top and progressing downwards.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray, ensuring to allow appropriate contact time as per the product instructions.
Vacuum the floor to eliminate loose dirt and debris.
Empty the rubbish bin, clean it using a disinfectant, and replace the liner.
Mop the floor utilising a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no excess water is left behind.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas are clean and odour-free.

ExcellentAll surfaces are visibly clean and free from dust, dirt, and smudges. High-touch areas are sanitised with no residue. Floor is spotless and dry. No odours present. Rubbish bins are empty and clean.
GoodSurfaces are mostly clean with minor dust or smudges. High-touch areas are sanitised with minimal residue. Floor is clean with slight dampness. No strong odours. Rubbish bins are empty but may have minor marks.
PassSurfaces have visible dust or smudges. High-touch areas are sanitised but with visible residue. Floor is clean but damp. Mild odours present. Rubbish bins are not overflowing but have visible marks.
FailSurfaces are dirty with significant dust and smudges. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floor is dirty or wet. Strong odours present. Rubbish bins are overflowing or dirty.
