Objective
To ensure corridors in hospitality facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared and equipped with a colour-coded cleaning cloth, mop, vacuum, and the appropriate cleaning agent.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray, ensuring adherence to the contact time as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Dust all horizontal surfaces using a microfibre cloth to trap dust and prevent it from becoming airborne.
Spot-clean any visible stains on the carpet using an appropriate carpet cleaner.
Mop the hard floor utilising a damp mop and a neutral pH floor cleaner, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.

FailSignificant dust, marks, or stains on surfaces. Floors are dirty with visible debris. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Rubbish bins are overflowing and have strong odour.
