Objective
To ensure the spa area within the hospitality facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and pleasant environment for guests.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential supplies and equipment, making sure to use colour-coded cloths for distinct areas to avoid cross-contamination.
Commence by dusting all surfaces, moving from the top downwards, to guarantee no area is overlooked.

Vacuum all carpeted areas and mop hard floors using an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Clean mirrors and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks are left.

Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and sanitise the bin prior to reinserting it.
Replace all towels and linens, ensuring they are laundered at the appropriate temperature for optimal hygiene.
Inspect all supplies and replenish as necessary, ensuring all products are within their expiry dates.

PassNoticeable dust on surfaces; high-touch areas partially sanitised; floors have visible streaks; spa equipment has visible moisture; rubbish bins not emptied; mirrors and glass have visible streaks; supplies low.
FailHeavy dust accumulation; high-touch areas not sanitised; floors dirty with debris; spa equipment dirty and wet; rubbish bins overflowing; mirrors and glass dirty; supplies depleted.
