Objective
To ensure the Deluxe Room in hospitality facilities is cleaned to the highest Australian standards, providing a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for guests.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential supplies and equipment, making sure to use colour-coded cloths for distinct areas to avoid cross-contamination.
Begin by dusting all surfaces from top to bottom to effectively capture dust and debris.
Vacuum the carpet and rug, ensuring special attention is given to the edges and corners.
Mop the hard floor using a damp mop and the appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of waste in accordance with the facility's protocol.
Sanitise high-touch surfaces by using a disinfectant spray and cloth, adhering to the manufacturer's instructions regarding contact time.
Thoroughly clean the bathroom, beginning with the sink, followed by the shower, and finally, the toilet. Ensure to use a separate cloth for each area.
Replace towels and linens, ensuring they are neatly folded and presented.
Replenish guest amenities, ensuring all items are stocked and presented neatly.
Inspect window and mirror cleaning with glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth for a streak-free finish.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet quality standards and address any remaining issues.
