Ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment in the administration area of a healthcare facility, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and infection control guidelines.
Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination.
Start by dusting from the highest to the lowest surfaces, utilising a microfibre cloth.
Sanitise high-contact areas using an approved disinfectant.
Utilise a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to vacuum the carpet.
Empty the rubbish bin and replace the liner, ensuring the bin is sanitised.
Mop the hard floor using a neutral detergent and fresh water.
Polish the glass surface using a glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth.

ExcellentAll surfaces are visibly clean and free of dust, dirt, and smudges. High-touch areas are sanitised with no residue. Floors are spotless and free of debris. No unpleasant odours present.
GoodMost surfaces are clean with minimal dust. High-touch areas are sanitised with slight residue. Floors are mostly clean with minor debris. No strong odours present.
PassSurfaces have some dust and dirt. High-touch areas are sanitised but with visible residue. Floors have noticeable debris. Mild odours may be present.
FailSurfaces are visibly dirty with dust accumulation. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floors are dirty with significant debris. Strong unpleasant odours present.
