Objective
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and infection control in the admissions area of a healthcare facility, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and practices.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with the suitable colour-coded cloth and cleaning agent.
Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to minimise airborne particles.
Sanitise high-contact surfaces using a hospital-grade disinfectant.
Utilise a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner to minimise allergens when vacuuming carpets.
Mop the floor using a neutral detergent and a suitable mop head.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
Discard rubbish in the specified waste disposal area.
