Objective
Ensure the patient lift in the healthcare facility is cleaned to the highest standards, maintaining hygiene and infection control as per Australian guidelines.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared and equipped with colour-coded cleaning cloths and the appropriate disinfectant.
Utilise a microfibre cloth to dust all surfaces, effectively removing loose dirt and dust particles.
Sanitise the handrail button and control panel using a hospital-grade disinfectant.
Empty the rubbish bin, clean it with a disinfectant, and replace the liner.
Vacuum the floor to remove debris, then mop using a disinfectant solution.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all surfaces are clean and free of marks.
