To ensure the dialysis room is maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene, minimising infection risks and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared with all necessary supplies, making certain to utilise colour-coded cloths and mops.
Dust all surfaces utilising a damp microfibre cloth to collect dust and inhibit dispersal.
Sanitise high-touch areas using an approved disinfectant, ensuring to allow for appropriate contact time.
Utilise a mop imbued with a disinfectant solution, commencing the cleaning process from the most distant corner and progressing towards the exit.
