Objective
To ensure the Resuscitation Bay in the healthcare facility is cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards, minimising infection risks and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared with all necessary supplies, making certain to utilise colour-coded cloths and mops.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Sanitise high-touch areas using hospital-grade disinfectant, ensuring appropriate contact time as per the product's instructions.
Mop the floor with a damp mop and disinfectant solution, taking care to prevent any pooling of liquid.
Empty the rubbish bin, sanitise both the interior and exterior, and replace the liner.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
Refill hand sanitiser and soap dispensers as required.

PassSurfaces have visible dust or smudges. High-touch areas are sanitised but with visible residue. Floors have visible streaks or pooling. Rubbish bins are not emptied or sanitised. Hand sanitiser and soap dispensers are partially filled.
FailSurfaces are visibly dirty with dust, dirt, or stains. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floors are dirty with streaks and pooling. Rubbish bins are full and unsanitised. Unpleasant odours present. Hand sanitiser and soap dispensers are empty.
