Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with colour-coded cleaning cloths and solutions.
Begin by dusting from higher to lower surfaces to prevent recontamination.
Vacuum all carpeted areas using a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner.
Mop the hard floor using a damp mop and the appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring no excess water remains.
Sanitise high-contact surfaces utilising disinfectant wipes or spray.
Disinfect and clean the toilet and sink, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly scrubbed and rinsed.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean the bin surface.
Clean glass surfaces using glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth.

PassNoticeable dust or debris on less than 10% of surfaces. Floors have visible streaks or spots. High-touch surfaces are partially sanitised. Toilets and sinks are clean but with visible water spots. Rubbish bins are emptied but not cleaned.
FailVisible dust or debris on more than 10% of surfaces. Floors are dirty or wet. High-touch surfaces are not sanitised. Toilets and sinks are dirty or have odours. Rubbish bins are full or dirty.
