Objective
Ensure the bike path within the government building precinct is clean, safe, and visually appealing, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Inspect the bicycle path for litter and debris, remove all items, and dispose of them in the appropriate rubbish bin.
Utilise a broom to sweep the entire pathway, paying particular attention to corners and edges where debris accumulates.
Prepare a mop using an appropriate cleaning solution, then proceed to mop the area, ensuring all stains and marks are completely removed.
Sanitise high-touch surfaces using a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
Ensure the clarity and visibility of all signage by wiping them down with a damp cloth.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the quality criteria.
