Objective
To ensure the landscaping areas of the government building are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, in compliance with Australian cleaning and safety regulations.
Cleaning Methods
Inspect the area for any rubbish or debris and remove it promptly.
Utilise a high-pressure hose to cleanse pathways and walkways.
Sanitise outdoor seating and fixtures by wiping them down with a sanitising solution.
Dust and clean exterior signage utilising a microfibre cloth.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and then sanitise the bin.
Clean the water feature and fountain using a suitable cleaning agent.
Ensure all cleaning activities are conducted using a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.

Performance LevelCriteria
ExcellentAll areas are free of rubbish and debris, pathways are spotless, outdoor fixtures are sanitised and free of dust, bins are empty and sanitised, water features are clear and clean.
GoodMinor amounts of dust or debris present, pathways are mostly clean, outdoor fixtures are mostly sanitised, bins are empty but not fully sanitised, water features are mostly clear.
PassNoticeable dust or debris, pathways have visible dirt, outdoor fixtures are partially sanitised, bins are not fully emptied or sanitised, water features have some dirt.
FailSignificant rubbish or debris, pathways are dirty, outdoor fixtures are not sanitised, bins are full and unsanitised, water features are dirty.
