Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all the necessary equipment and supplies, making sure to use colour-coded cloths and mops.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Start by dusting all surfaces from top to bottom to prevent the re-soiling of the cleaned area.
Sanitise high-touch areas using an appropriate disinfectant, ensuring sufficient contact time for effective germ elimination.
Mop the hard floor with a damp mop and an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.

PassNoticeable dust or smudges on less than 10% of surfaces. High-touch areas are partially sanitised. Floors have visible streaks or water marks. Rubbish bins are clean but with noticeable odour.
FailSignificant dust or smudges on more than 10% of surfaces. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floors are dirty with visible streaks and water marks. Rubbish bins are dirty and have strong odour.
