Objective
Ensure the Incident Command area in the Government Building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared with all necessary supplies and equipment, making certain to utilise colour-coded cloths and mops.
Commence by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, progressing from higher to lower areas.
Vacuum all carpeted areas, ensuring corners and edges are thoroughly cleaned.
Mop the hard floor utilising a damp mop and the correct cleaning solution, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of waste in accordance with the facility's protocol.
Sanitise high-touch surfaces using a disinfectant spray and cloth, ensuring all areas are thoroughly covered.
Clean the toilet using a toilet cleaner and brush. Sanitise all fixtures and replenish the toilet paper and soap as needed.
