Objective
Ensure the compactor room in the government building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by removing all waste and debris, depositing it in the assigned rubbish bin.
Utilise a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
Apply an appropriate sanitising solution to all surfaces, ensuring sufficient contact time.
Dust and wipe down the surface utilising a microfibre cloth.
Ensure even coverage by mopping the floor with a disinfectant solution.
Empty and sanitise the rubbish bin, replacing the liner as needed.
Utilise air freshener or odour neutraliser to preserve a pleasing environment.
Inspect and clean the drain and water outlet as necessary.

ExcellentAll surfaces are visibly clean and sanitised, no dust or debris present, no odours detected, bins are empty and sanitised, floors are spotless and dry.
GoodSurfaces are mostly clean with minor dust, no visible debris, faint odours may be present, bins are empty but not fully sanitised, floors are clean with minor streaks.
PassSurfaces have some dust and debris, noticeable odours, bins are not fully emptied or sanitised, floors have visible marks or are damp.
FailSurfaces are dirty with visible dust and debris, strong odours present, bins are full or unsanitised, floors are dirty or wet.
