Objective
To ensure the lobby of the government building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a welcoming and safe environment for all visitors and staff.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest surfaces and working downwards.
Utilise a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to vacuum all carpeted areas, thereby minimising dust and allergens.
Mop the hard floor utilising a colour-coded mop and bucket system, ensuring the appropriate cleaning solution is used for the specific floor type.
Ensure the rubbish bin is emptied, with waste disposed of in accordance with local regulations, and replace the liner.
Sanitise high-touch surfaces by wiping them thoroughly with a disinfectant wipe or spray, ensuring complete coverage and sufficient contact time.
Clean glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth, ensuring no streaks are left behind.
Inspect signage for cleanliness and visibility, wiping down as necessary.
Inspect the hand sanitiser dispenser and refill as necessary, ensuring they are fully operational.
