Objective
Ensure the Goods Receiving area in the government building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene, in compliance with Australian cleaning and workplace health and safety standards.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth to collect dust and inhibit its dispersal.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray and a clean cloth, ensuring all surfaces remain visibly damp for the contact duration specified by the product.
Vacuum all carpeted areas utilising a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to minimise airborne particles.
Mop hard floors utilising a colour-coded mop and bucket system to prevent cross-contamination. Ensure floors are left dry to prevent slips.
Clean windows and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a squeegee to achieve a streak-free finish.
