Objective
To ensure the Emergency Vehicle Bay in the Government Building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring safety and operational readiness.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential equipment and supplies, utilising a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
Commence dusting all surfaces from the highest point, working downwards, utilising a microfibre cloth.
Sweep the entire floor area, ensuring special attention is given to corners and the areas beneath equipment.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean the bin's exterior using a sanitising wipe.
Mop the floor utilising a neutral detergent, ensuring the mop is rinsed frequently to maintain cleanliness.
Sanitise high-touch surfaces using a disinfectant solution, ensuring adequate contact time as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Clean windows and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks are left.
Inspect the area for any remaining marks or stains, and remove them using an appropriate cleaning agent.
