Objective
To ensure the baby change room in the government building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring safety and comfort for all users.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared and equipped with the appropriate colour-coded cloth and cleaning agent.
Start by emptying the rubbish bin and replacing the liner.
Apply a disinfectant spray to all surfaces, ensuring an adequate dwell time prior to wiping.
Sanitise and clean the tap handle and dispenser utilising a microfibre cloth.
Wipe down the walls and partitions using a damp cloth to eliminate marks.
Mop the floor with a disinfectant solution, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Inspect and replenish all dispensers as required.
Inspect the air vent and, if necessary, clean using a vacuum equipped with a HEPA filter.
Polish mirrors and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner to achieve a streak-free finish.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure the room is clean, sanitised, and odour-free.

FailVisible dirt and stains on surfaces, floors dirty or wet, unpleasant odours present, dispensers empty, air vents clogged with dust, mirrors and glass surfaces dirty or streaked.
