Objective
Ensure public toilets in government buildings are cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards, providing a safe and hygienic environment for all users.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential supplies and equipment, ensuring the use of colour-coded cleaning cloths for distinct areas to avoid cross-contamination.
Start by emptying all rubbish bins and replacing the liners.
Sanitise and clean all toilet fixtures using a disinfectant cleaner, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly wiped and dried.
Sanitise and wipe all touchpoints, including taps, door handles, and light switches, using a disinfectant spray.
Clean mirrors and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks are left.
Dust and wipe all horizontal surfaces, including partitions and ledges.
Mop the floor using an appropriate floor cleaner, ensuring all areas are covered and no residue is left behind.
Replenish all consumables, including toilet paper and soap.
Inspect the area for any graffiti or marks, and remove them using the appropriate cleaning solution.

PassSurfaces have some visible marks. Mild odours present. Consumables partially stocked. Floors have some wet spots and debris. Some touchpoints are sanitised.
FailSurfaces are dirty with visible stains. Strong odours present. Consumables not stocked. Floors are wet and have significant debris. Touchpoints are not sanitised.
