Objective
Ensure the Duty Room in the Government Building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential equipment and supplies, adhering to the colour-coded cleaning system.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Sanitise high-contact surfaces using a disinfectant spray, then wipe them down with a clean cloth.
Utilise a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to minimise dust dispersion when vacuuming the carpet.
Mop the hard floor using a damp mop and a neutral pH floor cleaner.

Clean windows and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a squeegee.
Inspect the air vent and, if required, clean it using a vacuum attachment.
