Government Building - Shower Facilities

ANCMF-AU-GB-SF-01

Objective
To ensure the shower facilities in the government building are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential equipment and supplies. Use colour-coded cloths and mops to avoid cross-contamination.
Begin by removing any rubbish, then empty the bin, replacing the liner as necessary.
Apply an appropriate cleaning solution to all shower surfaces, allowing sufficient time for it to act on soap scum and grime.
Scrub the tile and grout using a brush, concentrating on areas with visible mould or mildew.
Thoroughly rinse the surface with clean water, ensuring that no residue is left behind.
Clean and polish taps and showerheads using a non-abrasive cleaner.
Refill the soap dispenser and inspect other consumables, replacing as necessary.
Dust and wipe all surfaces, ensuring no dust or debris remains.
Clean mirrors and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner, ensuring they are streak-free.
Inspect and clean the drain, removing any debris to prevent blockage.
Inspect the ventilation grille and clean as required to guarantee optimal airflow.
