Objective
Ensure the change room in the government building is cleaned to the highest Australian standards, maintaining hygiene, safety, and comfort for all users.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared with all necessary supplies, adhering to the colour-coded cleaning system.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Apply sanitiser to high-contact areas, allowing for an appropriate dwell time before wiping them clean.
Clean the toilet using a suitable cleaning solution and toilet brush, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly scrubbed and sanitised.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and sanitise the bin's surface.
Mop the floor utilising a two-bucket system to prevent cross-contamination, ensuring the floor is left dry and safe.
Refill the soap dispenser and paper towel holder as required.
Polish the mirror using glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth.
Inspect the ventilation grille and clean it as necessary, using either a vacuum or a damp cloth.

FailHeavy dust accumulation, high-touch areas not sanitised, strong odours present, floors are dirty and slippery, bins overflowing, dispensers empty, mirrors are dirty, ventilation grilles clogged with dust.
