Objective
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the cafeteria of a government building, ensuring compliance with Australian health and safety regulations.
Cleaning Methods
Start by removing all rubbish and debris from the area and emptying the waste bin.
Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, ensuring to reach corners and edges.
Sanitise all surfaces by wiping them down with a sanitising solution, with particular attention given to high-touch areas such as tables, chairs, and counters.
Thoroughly vacuum the floor, ensuring particular attention is paid to corners and areas beneath furniture.
Mop the floor utilising a neutral detergent, ensuring the floor is left dry to prevent slips.
Clean windows and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks are left.
Restock hand sanitiser and soap dispensers as required.
