Objective
Ensure the Arbitration Room in the Government Building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Commence by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, initiating from the highest point and progressing downwards.
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential supplies and equipment, making sure to use colour-coded cloths and mops to avoid cross-contamination.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray and a clean cloth, ensuring all surfaces remain visibly wet for the contact time specified by the product.
Vacuum all carpeted areas, ensuring particular attention is given to corners and spaces beneath furniture.
Mop the hard floor utilising a damp mop and a neutral pH floor cleaner, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Clean glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth, ensuring no streaks remain.
Empty the rubbish bin, clean it using a disinfectant wipe, and replace the liner.
Reorganise the furniture according to the room layout plan and ensure all items are in their designated places.
Inspect consumables and replenish as necessary, ensuring all items are stocked and readily accessible.
