Objective
To ensure the Citizen Services area of the Government Building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.
Cleaning Methods
Commence by organising the cleaning trolley, ensuring it is outfitted with all essential supplies. Employ colour-coded cloths and mops to avert cross-contamination.
Begin by dusting all horizontal surfaces, starting from the highest point and working downwards, using a microfibre cloth.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Mop the hard floor utilising a damp mop and the correct cleaning solution, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Sanitise high-touch surfaces using a disinfectant spray and a clean cloth, ensuring all areas are thoroughly covered.

Sanitise the toilet using a toilet brush and disinfectant, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and free from stains.
Clean glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth to ensure a streak-free finish.
Restock consumables, ensuring all dispensers are functioning correctly.

PassSurfaces have some dust or smudges. Floors have minor dirt. High-touch surfaces are partially sanitised. Toilets are clean but have noticeable odours. Consumables are low but available.
FailSurfaces are visibly dusty or dirty. Floors are dirty or wet. High-touch surfaces are not sanitised. Toilets are dirty with strong odours. Consumables are depleted.
