Objective
To ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment in the Social Services area of a Government Building, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential equipment and supplies. Use colour-coded cloths and mops to avoid cross-contamination.
Commence by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, initiating from the highest point and progressing downwards.
Thoroughly vacuum all carpeted areas, ensuring special attention is given to corners and areas beneath furniture.
Mop the hard floor utilising a damp mop and the correct cleaning solution, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.

Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray and cloth, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly wiped clean.

Clean the glass surface using a glass cleaner and squeegee, ensuring no streaks are left behind.
Restock consumables, ensuring all dispensers are full and functioning.
