Objective
Ensure the metal detector area in the government building is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, ensuring safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency.
Cleaning Methods
Start by donning the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with Australian Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
Use a microfibre cloth to dust and thoroughly clean every surface of the metal detector, ensuring no dust or debris remains.
Apply an appropriate sanitising solution to high-touch areas, ensuring sufficient contact time for effective sanitisation.
Utilise a vacuum cleaner equipped with a HEPA filter to cleanse the floor area surrounding the metal detector, ensuring all debris is thoroughly removed.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean the bin using a disinfectant wipe.
Inspect the area for any residual stains or marks, and clean them using a suitable cleaning agent.
