Objective
To ensure the Evidence Room in the Government Building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring the integrity of evidence and compliance with Australian cleaning standards.
Cleaning Methods
Initiate by arranging the cleaning trolley with all requisite supplies, guaranteeing that colour-coded cloths and mops are utilised to avert cross-contamination.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Sanitise high-contact areas using an approved disinfectant, ensuring appropriate contact time for optimal effectiveness.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of waste in accordance with the facility's protocol.
Mop the hard floor utilising a two-bucket system to guarantee that clean and dirty water remain separate.
Inspect the air vent and filter, cleaning as necessary, to ensure optimal air quality.

GoodSurfaces are mostly clean with minimal dust. High-touch areas are sanitised with slight residue. Floors have minor marks but are generally clean. Air quality is acceptable with minor odours. Rubbish bins are empty but may have slight residue.
PassSurfaces have some dust accumulation. High-touch areas are sanitised but with visible residue. Floors have noticeable marks. Air quality is tolerable but with noticeable odours. Rubbish bins are emptied but not cleaned.
FailSurfaces are dusty and unclean. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floors are dirty with significant marks. Air quality is poor with strong odours. Rubbish bins are full or unclean.
