Objective

Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared with the appropriate supplies and equipment, all of which should be in good condition.
Start by dusting all surfaces, working from the highest to the lowest, to avoid recontamination.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Sanitise high-touch areas utilising a disinfectant approved by Australian health standards.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and ensure the bin is clean and odour-free.
Mop the hard floor using a neutral detergent and a colour-coded mop head.
conduct a final inspection to ensure all task are completed to the required standard
Clean the sink and tap using a non-abrasive cleaner, ensuring all surfaces are dry and streak-free.

FailDust or marks on more than 10% of surfaces; high-touch areas not sanitised; floors dirty or streaked; bins not emptied or have strong odour.
