Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential equipment and supplies. Use colour-coded cloths and mops to avoid cross-contamination.
Commence by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, initiating from the highest point and progressing downwards.
Thoroughly vacuum all carpeted areas, ensuring special attention is given to corners and areas beneath furniture.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and sanitise both the interior and exterior of the bin.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray and cloth, ensuring all surfaces remain visibly wet for the necessary contact duration.
Mop the hard floor using a damp mop and the appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring no streaks or residues are left behind.
Clean windows and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and squeegee to ensure a streak-free finish.
Spot clean walls and skirting boards using a damp cloth and mild detergent as required.
Polish wooden furniture with an appropriate polish to ensure a consistent shine.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure no unpleasant odours are present and all tasks are completed to standard.
