Education Facility - Electrical Switch Room

ANCMF-AU-EF-ESR-01

Objective
To ensure the electrical switch room in the education facility is maintained in a clean and safe condition, minimising dust and debris that could interfere with electrical equipment and ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning and safety standards.
Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination.
Begin by dusting from the top downwards to guarantee all dust is collected.
Utilise a vacuum cleaner equipped with a HEPA filter to suction the floor, ensuring the capture of fine dust particles.
Wipe the surface using a damp cloth, taking care to ensure that no moisture penetrates the electrical components.
Mop the floor utilising a damp mop and a neutral detergent, ensuring the floor is not excessively wet.
Discard waste in the designated bin and replace the liner.
