Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared with all necessary supplies and equipment, including the use of colour-coded cleaning cloths and mops.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Sanitise high-contact areas using a disinfectant solution, ensuring an appropriate duration for effective contact time.
Thoroughly vacuum or sweep the floor, ensuring particular attention is given to corners and edges.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of waste in accordance with the facility's protocol.
Mop the floor utilising a damp mop and a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Inspect the area for cleanliness and ensure all supplies are returned to the storage area.
