Objective
To ensure the lift in the education facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, providing a safe and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all the necessary equipment and supplies, making sure to use colour-coded cloths and mops.
Commence by dusting and wiping down all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, beginning from the top and progressing downwards.
Sanitise the control panel and handrail using a disinfectant spray, ensuring it is left on for the appropriate contact time prior to wiping.
Thoroughly vacuum the floor, ensuring particular attention is paid to corners and edges.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean the bin's exterior with a disinfectant wipe.
Mop the floor using a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no excess water is left behind.
Clean mirrors and reflective surfaces using a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth to achieve a streak-free finish.
Inspect the lift for any remaining debris and remove as necessary.
