Objective
Ensure the accessible toilets in the education facility are cleaned and sanitised to the highest Australian standards, maintaining hygiene and safety for all users.
Cleaning Methods
Ready the cleaning trolley, ensuring it is equipped with colour-coded cleaning cloths and the suitable cleaning agents.
Ensure to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which includes gloves and a mask.
Dispose of rubbish and replace the bin liner.
Apply the disinfectant to the toilet surface and allow for the dwell time as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Wipe down all surfaces using colour-coded cloths to ensure no cross-contamination.
Clean mirrors and taps using glass cleaner.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet quality criteria.
Mop the floor utilising a damp mop and disinfectant solution.
Inspect and restock consumables.

GoodSurfaces are clean with minor water spots, no strong odours, consumables mostly stocked, and minimal marks on walls or floors.
PassSurfaces are generally clean, slight odours present, consumables available but not fully stocked, some marks on walls or floors.
FailSurfaces are visibly dirty, strong odours present, consumables not stocked, and significant marks or stains on walls or floors.
