Objective
Ensure the staff toilets in the education facility are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared with all essential supplies, utilising colour-coded cleaning cloths to avert cross-contamination.
Start by emptying the rubbish bin and replacing the liner.
Begin by dusting and wiping all surfaces, starting from the highest point and working down to the lowest area, to effectively capture all dust and debris.
Sanitise and clean the toilet fixture using a suitable cleaning agent, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly scrubbed and rinsed.
Clean mirrors and glass surfaces with glass cleaner to achieve a streak-free finish.
Sanitise the sink tap and countertop, ensuring all soap scum and watermarks are thoroughly removed.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard.
Mop the floor utilising a sanitising solution, ensuring all areas are covered and excess water is removed.
Inspect and replenish all dispensers with the required supplies.
