Objective
Ensure the staff room in the education facility is cleaned to the highest Australian standards, promoting a healthy and safe environment for staff.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared and equipped with colour-coded cloths and the appropriate cleaning agents.
Dust all surfaces utilising a microfibre cloth to effectively capture dust particles.
Utilise a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to minimise airborne dust when vacuuming the carpet.
Mop the hard floor using a neutral pH floor cleaner to prevent surface damage.
Wipe and sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant solution, ensuring adherence to the contact time as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of the waste in accordance with the facility's waste management protocol.
Clean windows and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner, using a squeegee to ensure a streak-free finish.
Sanitise kitchen appliances using the appropriate cleaning agent, ensuring all food-contact surfaces are thoroughly cleaned.
Inspect the soap dispenser and paper towel holder, refilling as necessary.
