Objective
To ensure the canteen in the education facility is cleaned to the highest standards, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for food preparation and consumption.
Cleaning Methods
begin by dusting all surface using a microfibre cloth to capture dust and allergen
Sanitise all tables and chairs in the food preparation area using a food-safe sanitiser.
Mop the floor utilising a neutral pH floor cleaner, ensuring all spills and stains are thoroughly removed.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and sanitise the bin using a disinfectant spray.
Clean the sink and tap using a non-abrasive cleaner, ensuring all soap scum and limescale are thoroughly removed.
Spot-clean walls and doors using a damp cloth and mild detergent to eliminate any visible marks.
Clean windows and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks are left behind.
Utilise colour-coded cleaning cloths and mops to prevent cross-contamination between different areas.
