Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic loading bay environment in compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris, ensuring it's properly disposed of in the designated rubbish bin.
Use a broom to sweep the entire floor area, making sure all corners and edges are comprehensively covered.
Prepare a mop bucket with an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring it is correctly diluted as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Commence mopping the floor systematically, initiating from the most distant point and progressively working towards the exit, to prevent treading on the damp surface.
Utilise a sanitising spray and cloth to thoroughly wipe down high-touch surfaces, ensuring even coverage.
Dust all ledges, sills, and equipment surfaces using a microfibre cloth.

Inspect the area for any residual stains or spills, and address them using the appropriate spot-cleaning technique.

GoodMost surfaces are clean with minimal dust or debris. Floors are generally clean with minor streaks. High-touch surfaces are mostly sanitised with few visible marks. Rubbish bins are empty with slight odour.
PassSurfaces have some dust and debris. Floors have visible streaks and minor residue. High-touch surfaces are partially sanitised with some visible marks. Rubbish bins are not overflowing but have noticeable odour.
FailSurfaces are visibly dirty with significant dust and debris. Floors are dirty with streaks and residue. High-touch surfaces are not sanitised and have visible marks. Rubbish bins are overflowing and have strong odour.
