Objective
To ensure the stairwell in the commercial office is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all the essential equipment and supplies, adhering to the colour-coded cleaning system.
Dust all horizontal surfaces using a microfibre cloth, beginning at the top of the stairwell and working downwards.
Vacuum the carpeted area utilising a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to minimise dust and allergens.
Mop the hard floor using a damp mop and a neutral pH cleaner to avoid causing damage to the surface.
Sanitise handrails and high-touch areas using a disinfectant, ensuring adherence to the manufacturer's instructions regarding contact time.
Collect and dispose of waste in the designated rubbish bin.
Spot-clean walls and doors using an appropriate cleaning agent to eliminate any marks or stains.
