Objective
Ensure the loading bay of the aged care facility is maintained to the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards, minimising risks of contamination and ensuring safety for all users.
Cleaning Methods
Start by eliminating all noticeable rubbish and debris, depositing it in the designated rubbish bin.
Use a broom to sweep the entire floor area, making sure all corners and edges are comprehensively covered.
Prepare a mop bucket with an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring it is correctly diluted as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Commence mopping the floor systematically from the most distant corner, progressing towards the exit to prevent treading on the wet surface.
Utilise a sanitising spray and cloth to thoroughly wipe down all high-touch surfaces, ensuring uniform coverage.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and sanitise the bin's interior and exterior.
Dust all horizontal surfaces utilising a microfibre cloth for effective dust capture.
Inspect the area for any residual stains or spills, and address them using the appropriate spot-cleaning technique.
Ensure the area is well-ventilated and apply an odour neutraliser if necessary.

FailSurfaces are visibly dirty with dust, debris, or stains. Strong odours present. High-touch surfaces are not sanitised. Floor is dirty or wet. Bins are full or not sanitised.
