Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential supplies and equipment, ensuring the use of colour-coded cloths and mops.
Start by dusting all surfaces, working from high to low, to avoid recontamination.
Thoroughly vacuum carpets and soft furnishings, ensuring particular attention is paid to edges and corners.
Sanitise high-contact areas utilising an appropriate disinfectant spray and suitable cloth.
Mop the hard floor with a disinfectant solution, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.

PassSurfaces have some dust or marks. Mild odours may be present. High-touch areas are mostly sanitised. Floors have some wet spots or minor debris. Bins are emptied but not sanitised.
FailSurfaces are visibly dirty with dust and marks. Strong odours present. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floors are wet or have visible debris. Bins are full or unsanitised.
