Objective
Ensure the greenhouse in the aged care facility is maintained to the highest cleanliness standards to promote a healthy and safe environment for residents and staff.
Cleaning Methods
Initiate the process by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth to minimise the dispersion of dust and allergens.
Thoroughly sanitise all benches, tables, and seating areas, ensuring that all surfaces are left dry.
Mop the floor using a disinfectant solution, ensuring particular focus on corners and beneath benches.
Clean glass surfaces using a streak-free glass cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Collect and dispose of any debris or organic matter in the designated waste container.

ExcellentAll surfaces are free of dust and streaks; floors are spotless with no debris; glass surfaces are crystal clear; no residue or cleaning marks visible; all cleaning agents are used correctly and safely.

PassNoticeable dust or streaks on 10% of surfaces; floors have some debris; glass surfaces have visible smudges; some cleaning agents not used as per guidelines.
FailSignificant dust or streaks on more than 10% of surfaces; floors have visible debris; glass surfaces are dirty; incorrect use of cleaning agents posing risk to plants or residents.
