Objective
Ensure the walking paths in the aged care facility are clean, safe, and hygienic for residents and staff.
Cleaning Methods
Start by collecting all noticeable debris and litter using the suitable waste disposal method.
Use a microfibre cloth to dust and meticulously clean the handrail and its surrounding surfaces.
Apply a hospital-grade disinfectant to high-touch areas, allowing for the appropriate dwell time before proceeding to wipe clean.
Utilise a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring dust and allergens are minimised.
Mop the hard surface using a disinfectant solution, ensuring even coverage, and allow the surface to air-dry.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
