Objective
Ensure the pergola area in the aged care facility is clean, hygienic, and safe for residents and visitors.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by removing any debris or litter from the area.
Dust all surfaces with a microfibre cloth to minimise the dispersion of dust particles.
Thoroughly sweep the floor, ensuring all corners are reached.
Mop the floor using an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring it's safe for the flooring material.
Disinfect furniture by wiping it down, ensuring to focus particularly on high-touch areas.
Sanitise outdoor cushions using a fabric-safe disinfectant spray.
Clean glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth.
Empty the waste bin, replace the liner, and then sanitise the bin.
Utilise an extendable duster to eliminate cobwebs.
