Objective
Ensure the garden area of the aged care facility is clean, hygienic, and safe for residents and visitors.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by collecting all visible rubbish and debris from the garden area.
Use a broom to sweep the garden path, making sure all dirt and dust are completely removed.
Prepare a cleaning solution as per the manufacturer's instructions for sanitising outdoor furniture and surfaces.
Utilise a mop and bucket to cleanse the garden path, ensuring the cleaning solution is applied uniformly.

Thoroughly wipe down all outdoor furniture, handrails, and frequently touched surfaces using a cloth saturated in the cleaning solution.
