Objective
Ensure the outdoor areas of the aged care facility are clean, safe, and hygienic for residents, staff, and visitors.
Cleaning Methods
Carry out an initial inspection to pinpoint areas that necessitate attention.
Use the suitable tool to eliminate litter and debris from all areas.
Sweep the hard surface using a broom, then mop with an appropriate cleaning solution.
Thoroughly wipe down outdoor furniture using a disinfectant solution, ensuring all surfaces are completely covered.
Empty the waste bin, replace the liner, and sanitise both the interior and exterior of the bin.
Dust and clean railings and fixtures using a microfiber cloth and a suitable cleaning agent.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
Utilise a pressure washer on hard surfaces where necessary, adhering to safety guidelines.
