Objective
Ensure the entrance hall of the aged care facility is maintained to the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards to provide a welcoming and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all horizontal surfaces with a microfibre cloth to effectively capture dust.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area and entrance mat, ensuring meticulous cleaning of corners and edges.
Prepare a disinfectant solution as per the manufacturer's instructions and mop all hard floor surfaces.
Utilise a disinfectant wipe to clean and sanitise all high-touch areas, such as door handles and handrails.
Utilise a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth to clean and polish all glass surfaces.
Empty the waste bin, sanitise both the interior and exterior, and replace with a new liner.
Inspect the wall for marks or stains and spot clean using an appropriate cleaner.
Inspect the entrance mat for cleanliness and vacuum or shake out debris as required.
